Hi! I'm Yujia Chen, a PhD Candidate in Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in Spain. In Spring 2026, I was a visiting researcher at Università Bocconi.

My research examines how firms respond to external governance pressures across institutional, ownership, and network contexts. Drawing on institutional theory and corporate governance research, I study how governance practices diffuse and how organizations adapt to competing governance pressures.

My research areas are Corporate Governance, Institutions, Ownership, and Organizational Adaptation
